Elves and Hubble Space Telescope

 The two little elves from 'Twas the night before Christmas' are complete (big sigh of relief) and I will never make these little uns again!!!

although to be fair they are super cute.  Here is an in progress picture of the boy elf.

I though I would have a root around for last years Christmas decorations from mmmcrafts and found them.  Glad to see I got each set properly co-ordinated with lasts years opposite number!

Next Sunday i get the final instalment of the Wonders of the Ocean SAL and I'm really looking forward to seeing what it is, but I needed to think about my next project (typical of us sewers always desperate to start a new project!).  I've opted for one of Climbing Goats previous stitch alongs Wonders of the Hubble Space Telescope for my lovely husband who is very much into astronomy, especially astro photography;

The fabric is specially dyed by a lady in Finland, the same lady who dyed the Oceans fabric and it is gorgeous, although it might be a bit more challenging on the dark bits, but it really does look like the night sky!  It takes 80 different colours and I had 40 of them already but decided to splash out and buy the others!  All Climbing Goat designs are excellent, non of them AI generated and always tested before publishing and her use of colour is spot on and I really wanted to do it justice!  But this will have to wait until Joshua's Oceans is completed.  Fingers crossed before Christmas!  I will then wait for a big project to make Amber, when she settles down to what she really like because at the moment it's all and everything!

Tomorrow I will link up with Kathy for some slow Sunday stitching
